The Czechs got the point they came for tonight, despite our best competitive performance under the new regime.
We've dropped eight points out of nine so far, and even though we'll get six out of our next two games against San Marino, the Germans and the Czechs will be over the hills and far away by the time we get to the business end of this group.
As for McShane, I thought he did really well tonight. He beat Koller in the air every time. Interestingly, Koller beat him every time the ball was on the ground. So, maybe we should curb our enthusiasm.
Anyway, I'm holding off on wig purchases for the foreseeable.
