Paris St Germain coach Guy Lacombe admitted that Derry City did not deserve to lose the Uefa Cup tie between the sides and stressed that the atmosphere created by the home fans made it an occasion to remember.

PSG threw everything at the Candystripes, but their defence was magnificent on the night and the home side were denied a certain penalty, which could have changed the outlook of the game, head of the second leg.
