French delay their arrival in Derry for their sleepy colleague


The French football aristocrats of Paris Saint-Germain were three hours behind schedule when their plane touched down at Derry Airport today ahead of their UEFA Cup tie against Derry City tomorrow (Thursday, September 14, 7 pm ko).

A glance at a squad that contains internationals from Brazil, France, Portugal, Nigeria and the Czech Republic, suggests that nobody who is Irish would be complaining if they were late for the first leg of their tie at the Brandywell !!
