Coming from something mentioned on another thread that I thought was more suited to this forum. What do people think of the Michael Shields thing? Guilty or Innocent. Personally I think he did it. The cause celebre that he has become for Liverpool supporters is and the emotive unfactual documentary about his case has mistakingly lead a lot of people to believe that he is innocent.

Just reading throught some of the background. I'm undecided at the minute, but want to read more on it. Question on Sankey, as there is a contradiction on wikipedia page, was Sankey in the line up or not?
Does Sankey look similar to Shields in anyway?
Not sure. Apparatly though when the campaign started, Liverpool FC were rowing in behind it. Since the alibi and Sankey's story have become less reliable the club has distanced itself considerably from the whole thing.Quote:
