Am I right in guessing that when a thread is replaced by new threads and eventually "falls off" the bottom of the page, then that thread is gone forever?
I was looking for a thread in "Current Affairs" and it has gone.

Go back to the current affairs page/forum and at the bottom of the page you will see an option to find any thread from whenever you like (providing it hasn't been deleted).Quote:

You probably just need to broaden your search parameters. Scroll down to the Display Options dropdown menus at the bottom of the page. If "Last Month" is displayed in the "From The" menu, select "The Beginning" instead. That should give you access to all historical posts in the forum.
