The under 21's lost at the weekend 2-0 to tony mannions mayo league team. A poor result considering mayo lost 5-0 to salthill the previous week.
Mike Quirkes Salthill team however won again 4-2 against mullingar town (I think) to put them on top of the table. My cousin, who is a salthill devon player himself (not the u21 team) says that they are seen as the favourites to win this section table and continue onto the knockout stages. By the way, almost have the team played for the GUFC u21 team over the past few seasons.
