He was in the Irish amateur squad earlier in the season - granted in a squad of 43.
He played against Killester in the Second Round of the FAI Cup alright.

He seems to be a good player alright. He is what we were lacking on the right wing- someone who will run at the defence. Compare Kavanagh to Doyle tonight- one gets the ball and runs with it, the other stops and passes the ball.
I was speaking to someone who is connected with Wayside last year (or maybe the year before:confused: ) and he really rated Kavanagh - said that he'd do a good job for any team in the country. Sounds a good buy;)
I thought he did well when he came on against you. Had a mazy run where he beat a few people. He's certainly the most out and out winger type I've seen play for UCD.Quote:
