Galway Utd stage WC with a difference

Galway United Football Club plan on holding their own World Cup. Bars
are being invited to take part in a novel fundraising idea for the Galway
soccer club during the month of June while the World Cup is being held. It
is limited to 32 bars – one for each of the qualifying nations. Costing €500
to register, a special draw will take place to allocate a country to each
bar, while there will be a special prize for the bar that gets into the true
spirit of the event and decorates in their chosen countries colours.
Contact Galway United on 767336, a full list of all the bars taking part will
be posted on the club website and through the local media.
