carl Barrett ( the other guy from the libertines :D ) new band ive heard the album its quite good allthough neither babyshambles or this come close to libs stuff this isnt far off up the bracket .its the same drummer from the libs as well .
well worth a listen , Bang Bang your dead is the first single the album is pretty much the same kinda stuff .
Personally I thought the Libertines were one of the most over-rated bands of all time, Babyshambles are a novelty act and Carl Barat takes himself WAY too seriously, so I have little respect for the man
Spot on Jebus. People who claim Pete Doherty is a poetic/lyrical genius are either deludisionary groupies or haven't heard real genius.
Only really got into the Libertines with their 2nd album but I really liked it.
Can't say the same for Babyshambles, Doherty is a mess.
I have heard 2 or 3 tracks from the Dirty Pretty Things and I must say I like what I hear.
Well the Dirty Pretty Things name is hardly original...derived as it is from ancient band The Pretty Things!
