Looking Good for the Gaynor Cup

I was fortunate to catch most of the girls schools junior cup final (u16) in Sligo on Tuesday.

If this standard of soccer is being played by school teams, then this year's Gaynor Cup competition will be a joy to watch.

Castletroy College (Limerick) won by a goal to nil against an excellent Donegal team from Moville CC, Inishowen.
The Hegarty girls were superb for Moville as was Ms. Mulcahy in midfield for Castletroy. The Limerick school should thank each one of their back 4 for having outstanding matches, which ultimately led to the cup going back to Shannonside.
