In the lead-up to the start of the new eircom under-21 League season, the
eircom League have organised a pre-season tournament. Split into two

Group 1: Cork City, Bray Wanderers, Limerick, Athlone Town, UCD, Cobh Ramblers, St.Patrick's Athletic and Shamrock Rovers.
Group 2: Shelbourne, Dundalk, Derry City, Finn Harps, Monaghan United, Sligo Rovers, Dublin City and Bohemians.
Games will be played each weekend beginning on the weekend of Sunday, March 26th.
The semi-finals will take place on the week-ending Sunday 21st May while
the final will take place on Sunday 4th June.
The Under-21 League proper will begin in mid-June.
Where did this info come from??
Finn Harps were informed of this yesterday evening
This is going to be a 3rd comp for the 21s this year so expect clubs to use it to keep players fresh and give others trials, 5 overage players are allowed in this comp compared with 3 in the league and cup.
Beeslow are going to apply to join next season or season after.:)
Hope they don't play their home games at same time as Athlone Town:eek:
No UL team this season??? Lack of funds???
