Leech plays in Setanta - O'Donovan doesnt...why?

Both Mark Leech and Roy O'Donovan were in the U-21 squad, but Leech withdrew from the Drogheda squad while O'Donovan played for Cork in the Setanta Cup game. Anyone know why this happened or what the rules relating to it are?

Yeah I know I got it backwards in the post title!

Seems pointless now. Leech never even came off the bench. O'Donovan only made a token appearance in the 90th min.

What I'm more curious about is what Joey O'Brien was doing on the bench.

And where was Leon Best?
