I see the Lotto last night had a jackpot of 2.4 million, and was won by 10 people.
I know 240k is a lot of money but I would be absolutely gutted if I had a ticket with the 6 numbers and had to split the winnings ten ways!

Feck, that must be the first time ever there was over 3 or 4 winners.
Thats a bit amazing.
I'd guess that all the 6 numbers are under 28 in that case.
Possibly 1,2,3,4,5, and 6:D
Of course, they'll be gutted the greedy feckers.
I read a while back that only 65% of prizes under 25 (might have been stg£25) go unclaimed.
Greedy foolish Idiots.
What if you were in an office syndicate of 10 people and you won last night. You'd be down to 24K each.Quote:

Has the Euro Lotto jackpot being cut down as it was getting too high
or has it been won again and its starting low again?
Just noticed that its only (;) )15 million now compared to the 100 million
or whatever it used to be?

Jayz, there's no pleasing some of ye.
Maybe he just has the eh . . tiny sum of 240,000 (or 24,000 for that matter) remaining on his mortgage.
I wouldn't exactly be fecking Derek Davis, Lotto and RTE out of it if i got that much.
Five pounds to Magicme.
(It's actually more moderate size, wth a nice view
, but close enough)
I was on about this with my wife the other night and I was saying it would be totally greedy to feel gutted about it.
I think the important thing to remember would be that you've actually just won a quarter of a million and forget about how many of your numbers came out.
If someone told you you'd just won that amount but didn't tell you where from you'd be over the moon.
I got five numbers a few years back and it was one of, if not the, lowest payouts for five numbers I'd ever seen (although truth be told I'm not a big follower of the Lotto, barely pay attention if I'm playing, never mind if I'm not), about €300. It was annoying, and obviously I'm still ranting about it today, but it was still nice to win. €300 buys quite the few pints.

one of the tickets was in limerick in a syndicate of 14 people !!!!Quote:

My dad won £127 punts back in the day for five numbers. And this weeks won €233Quote:

I wonder what made people skip 15 & 18?
A mate of mine's dad who is in his 70's, won £250k sterling on the UK lotto a while back....he celebrated his winnings by buying........
A NICE APPLE TART!
Probably not the only lotto winner to spend his money on a tart
Wasn't the very old Lotto 28 or 32 numbers or something?
That's a long way easier to win and iirc, the jackpot was usually about quarter of a mill then.
Dont often play it but at one stage a few years back I had done the same No.s 5 wks in a row and on the 6th wk there was a big queue in the shop so I didn't bother. five and the fecking bonus came out on lotto+1 would have been 5,000 but feck it you dont miss what you dont haveQuote:
