Shels face Glentoran in Setanta Sports Cup opener


Shelbourne face Glentoran on the opening night of the Setanta Sports Cup in a repeat of last summer's Champions League first round clash. On that occasion, Shelbourne romped to a 6-2 aggregate victory over a Glentoran team that had just returned to pre-season training.

However, the tables have been turned on this occasion with the clash being Shels' first competitive game of the season. Jason Byrne and Alan Moore are suspended for Shelbourne, who will also be without Richie Baker while Glentoran are likely to be unchanged from the team that drew 1-1 with Cliftonville on Saturday.
