I suppose we will know if we dont get it. Does anyone know when we find out?
I hope ye do get it, but ye sound a bit unsure. We'll bring anything up to 500 for this one, so there should be a fantastic atmosphere.Quote:

We should be fine for the licence appeal, if the accounts had gone to the right place we'd have it.
A home game and a local derby. It's a good fixture to kick off the season.
must be our first encounter in the league in about 12 years:)
I think Sligo were relgated when we got promoted, so you could be right - probably why there isn't a greater rivalry as I think we are the closest club to Sligo.
some banter at work with sligo rovers and town supporters workin together now. there should be a huge crowd at the game.
nows the time for any new recruits to come to section o for the new season! we are in need of new blood and new chants so anyone that hates where they are in the stand are welcome to come over our side. we dont want sligo rovers to show us up on the first day of the season- i will get slagged off for the next few weeks if we make an arse of ourselves!
in terms of singing I think ye will get shown up...but its all about the result.
We'll be able to sing "Shall we sing a song for you" so:D :p.Quote:

I first remember the Easy chant being sung, when Derek Davis got a charade right on Ronan Collins' charade show Play the Game or am I showing my age here? Lovejoy you can sod off.... loved it when he was hosting his chat show wearing a Ramones t-shirt, and some comedian asked him to name any of his albums. The posing tw@t couldnt name any. :)Quote:

2-1 to Rovers is mine:).
I think by the sounds of it, ye will outnumber us fans wise.
We'll win 1-0 or 2-1.
who cares where people are from once they pay the cash at the gate.Quote:

500 would be impressive for any team to bring....hopefully that amount come from Sligo and id say Longford fans want as many to come as possible
