Two friendly wins for Cork City


Eircom League champions Cork City continued their warm up for the new season with two convincing wins at Bishopstown this afternoon. In the opening encounter, a full strength City took on Limerick FC and beat the Shannonsiders 3-0.

First half goals from Denis Behan (2) and Colin T O'Brien secured the win for Damien Richardson's side. Afterward, a second string City overcame Kildare District League 4-0 with trialist Darko Bakic getting a brace.
