Tom Silke has signed a 2 year contract with Longford Town.

Is he any good? Where does he play? Full-back ?

He plays centre half, he is good. He is from Athlone and played for us a couple of seasons ago and has been playing for Galway Utd. for the past 2 seasons.

I thought he was coming back to us, but not to worry. With the Frawley brothers, Alan Oliver and Des Hope coming through we're well covered for centre halves anyway.

Disappointing to see him choose Longford!!
