No nonsense Portadown boss Ronnie McFall today insists the Shamrock Park club had no option but to withdraw their contract offer to striker Gary Hamilton.
McFall revealed this morning that he has been outraged at the Northern Ireland international's behaviour since a new deal was offered to the 24-year-old hitman in November.

Portadown have withdrawn a contract offer to striker Gary Hamilton. The Northern Ireland forward has spent five years at the Shamrock Park club but is set to move on after a new deal was taken off the table on Saturday. "I have enjoyed every minute of my time at Portadown. It is disappointing, but it looks like I will have to move on.
"Two other Irish League clubs and two from the Eircom League have shown an interest in signing me," said Hamilton, when contacted by BBC Sport on Monday. Portadown manager Ronnie McFall insists the player will not leave before the end of the season.

Northern Ireland international striker Gary Hamilton looks destined to leave Portadown after the Shamrock Park club opted to withdraw their contract offer this week.
Hamilton, the Setanta Cup’s top scorer last season with three goals, has failed to give a decision to the club in the two months since he was first offered the new deal.
