ireland lost to wales 5-2. pathetic!!!!

IMO, that is a huge embarrassment for the el, luckily it didnt get much press coverage.
I always thought that this was a stupid thing to enter because it would be humiliating to lose a game and even if we won nobody would be that impressed because their only non-league teams.
I doubt if the players involved gained anything from the experience.
