Cork City have come up with the unusual method of inviting fans to vote for their awards over the season. Votes have been taken on their website with the following results and over the last five weeks their fans have voted as follows:. (winners % of the vote is in brackets);
• Player of the season: Joe Gamble (53%).
• Young player of the season: Roy O’Donovan (64%).
• U-21 player of the season: Admir Softic (75%).
