Well lads heard anything?
I think it would be the mother of all coups!
There's a few lads saying that they've got info. on the inside that says it's a possibilty and I've also heard one or two interesting things from different sources!
What are the chances?
What would you think if we did sign him?
well i suppose its the silly season for the eircom league coming up to the transfer window.

1.i think the chances are slim,very slim.the only attraction could be the champions league for him.
2.i think it would be great if he joined even though he is heading towards his twilight years.The style of play that city play would suit him also.
He'd be a great player with ye but I honestly don't think he'd ever be attracted to any team in the EL.
My initial reaction to reading this was "What the hell?" but then I remember he has fallen out of favour at Spart Prague and was punted on loan to some lower division club. Who knows? Would generate some good publicity for the league.
Remember Shoddy with Carlton Palmer and that Ekoku (i think) fella, hope the El is not going to become a last day pay out for washouts, though would be good PR for the El but i am always sceptical about these guys.
well Poborksy is a higher class than any of those players, so if he did come he'd be much more use.
But being an elephants grave yard isn't the way forward is it?

theres been talk of Poborsky for a while, wouldn't work as he'll surely be in the Czech squad for the World Cup.

While Ekoku was rubbish, Palmer looked far more composed than any other defender here and despite his lack of pace he did a good job for CHFDC.Quote:
