The reporter interviewing Keely seems like a príck. He is very negative with the questions and seems like a Shellthick or Man U supporter or probably both!!
However, I loved the way Keely compared schoolboy football to the LUAS line :p :p
The standard of football is improving – Yet as usual we do not do it right – we move one League – we do not move all the Leagues. Kids should be playing Soccer on good pitches during the Summer. I say absolutely yes! Kids should not be playing in this weather. They should not have to go from now until the end of January without a game of football. But we moved on our own. It is like the luas line – There is no joined up we have a line there and a line here nobody ever thought of joining them
Brilliant!¬!
Appears to be a website for everything BUT the Eircom league - schoolboys, junior football, internationals, English and Scottish football.Quote:

Good to see another website anyway. It is pretty much doing the same as www.a2zsoccer.com .... i would always prefer a one site to be used but both parties updating it but, there you go.
Best of luck and i'll add it to the eL links page.
Proof positive that Keely has lost the plot:
"This is a pet hate of mine. The crowds are falling. Days are gone when fellows will go out on a warm day to watch football. Weekends are now devoted to families.
The standard of football is improving"
Is he on some sort of medication to come out with garbage like that?
Then he goes onto say there are too many Dublin clubs! YEAH YOU MANAGE ONE THAT SHOULD NOT BE IN THE LEAGUE.
KOH
What????? the main story is an interview with Dermot Keely and I've seen news stories about collins, gill, scully, dublin city to name but a few. I'm sure that there will be plenty of Eircom League news on the site once the season gets goingQuote:
