Setanta draw throws up final repeat
The draw for the 2006 Setanta Sports Cup has thrown up one hugely mouth-watering group, pairing last season’s finalists Linfield and Shelbourne along with Carnegie Premier League champions Glentoran and eircom League runners-up Derry City.
Linfield lifted the inaugural trophy with a 2-0 defeat of Shels at Tolka Park last May, and the pair will meet again in the 2006 competition, which begins in February.
