Jaysus, will ye have any decent player's left for next season? One step forward, two steps back:(.
Its not looking good alright Sligoman. Its typical of Kilkenny though.
So, are these lads any good? I know Price and Cassidy are supposed to be quite handy, what about the other two?
Price has already been appointed captain hasn't he?.Quote:

McGuinness is a decent keeper.
things are looking bad for kilkenny at the moment. Any sign of a manager coming in? Is there anyone signed from last season?
Connaughton is an excellent tackler and a very good player. He is only 18 I think.
McGuiness is useless, no bravery at all and poor at coming for crosses also isnt near vocal enough. Ye can have him!
Scully raids Kilkenny again
New Shamrock Rovers boss Pat Scully has raided former club Kilkenny City for the second time in two weeks by completing the signings of John McGuinness and Paul Connaughton from the south Leinster side, while defender Sean Kelly and striker Robbie Shields have also joined the Hoops.
Scully had previously brought Kilkenny captain Aidan Price and winger David Cassidy to Rovers. And he has continued to build by returning to his former club by completing deals to take keeper McGuinness and defender Connaughton with him to the Hoops.

i would love to see him **** up REALLY BAD at Shams and finish near bottom, how ironic would it be if they finished just behind Kilkenny!!
Kilkenny will be struggling with Monaghan and Athlone next year i think. They have lost their most influential aspect that contributed mainly to their success last year-Scully.Aswell as that they've lost 4 of their top players, signed nobody and haven't even a manger in place yet.2006 doesn't look bright for Kilkenny im afraid.
