SUCCESSFUL promotion boss Dermot Keely has confirmed that he will remain as manager of the Premiership new boys next season. Keely masterminded the club's first division campaign, culminating in their 3-2 two legged playoff success over Shamrock Rovers last week and a delighted chief executive Ronan Seery confirmed Keely as manager for next season thus ending speculation that he was to take over at Newry City. Said Keely of his decision to renew his contract with the Vikings: "I believe Dublin City has huge potential and we have the basis of a solid squad. I have an excellent chief executive to work with an I'm looking forward to the new season. We have lots of work to do, but we'll be ready for the challenge." Said Ronan Seery: "It's great news for the club. Dermot has proved himself as one of the best manager's in the game and this gives us great continuity going forward. We're looking to establish the club as a force in eircom League soccer and with Dermot as manager, we have the ideal individual to do so. "We have to significantly increase our budget but we have some great sponsors on board and we'll looking to add to our portfolio. We are very ambitious here and we're beginning to attract in fans. We will look to copper fasten our budget and then concentrate on retaining our Premier division status for next season to give us a platform going forward. We've learned from our experience from our last time in the Prermier Division and I believe we'll be a much stronger club as a result next season
