Obviously it is too late now, but maybe it would have been a good idea having a 1-legged relegation play-off in Landsdowne Road on the day of the FAI Cup Final. Between the 4 sets of supporters and increased neautral attendances it would probably get a massive turn-out and be a great spectacle.

What would happen if someone in the play off ended up in the final :confused:
they play both games, but they wear their away jersey in the second game
Might be fairer to allow them to use 6 subs over the 2 games though.
