Michael Jackson has been summoned back to court - this time as a juror.
Jackson received the jury summons at his Neverland Valley Ranch, four months after he was acquitted of child molestation charges.
However, the pop star is not expected to show up for jury selection in California.
His lawyers have filed paperwork for a deferment based on the fact that he now lives in Bahrain.
Santa Barbara jury commissioner Gary Blair said Jackson will likely be excused from serving.
"All he has to do is show he has legal residency somewhere else and he'll be exempted," he said.
Jackson was in London last week to record a charity single.
He was mobbed when he attended a performance of Billy Elliot: The Musical and visited the Madame Tussauds waxworks museum.
