Under-21's go down to Swiss



Ireland's under-21's fell to defeat at the hands of Switzerland at Tolka Park tonight, giving the Swiss the win they needed to qualify for the play-offs of the European under-21 championship.

A lively opening saw Don Givens' Irish side create a number of good chances. Joey O'Brien blasted well off target after creating space for himself.
