Alignment of the FAI National Cup competitions

With the alignment of the FAI National Cup competitions has anyone connected to non-league clubs know if the FAI Intermediate Cup & FAI Junior Cup competitions are now starting in January 2026?

probably not January, but it will be in the new year.

The LSL (who provide the vast majority of clubs) are due to have a vote about boycotting the Intermediate Cup in protest at the calendar change. But I doubt the boycott will go ahead. For one thing, it would be embarrassing for the chairman who sits on the FAI board.
