Aston Villa forward Louie Barry has returned to Stockport County on a season-long loan.

Villa reported to be ready to end the loan to Stockport in January, as Louie has scored 13 goals in 17 appearances in EFL 1 so far this season. Villa want to see how he does in the Championship and Middlesbrough are keen. (www.birminghamworld.uk, today). The 21 year-old's last international cap was on 29 March 2021, for England U-18s.
“Aston Villa can confirm that Louie Barry will be recalled from his loan spell at Stockport County in January. Barry will return to Bodymoor Heath in the new year for a period of assessment with the first-team squad. The 21-year-old has scored 14 goals for Stockport so far this season and has twice won the League One Player of the Month award.”
