Calling all 'funtrekers'... short quiz

for a pint of the creamy black stuff,,,

Can anyone on the Funtrek (aka Startrek ) trip to Italia 90 remember where we were first based when when we eventually landed on Italian soil?.
If you remember it was a seaside resort (but no women - sent to the hills, I heard) with only one hotel...those that were 'posh' enough stayed in that hotel, the rest of us had to stay in the campsites (1 star,,,if at all)

I wouldnt mind going back there sometime,,, for old times sake
