Three first-half goals powered the Dutch to victory in this one as they completed the clean sweep having previously beaten Belgium and Faroe Islands to top the group.
Striker*Danique Tolhoek showed her class with clever movement off the ball and two important finishes to bag a brace - one in either half before she was substituted.
Fieke Kroese converted a penalty after Tolhoek had initially opened the scoring and*Lotte Keukelaar also got one to ensure the front three all got on the scoresheet.
The result may have been disappointing for Ireland but they were not short of courage or imagination as they did what they could to push their opponents back and create openings.
Overall, Head Coach Dave Connell can reflect on a lot of positives from what was a difficult Group as they plan for the future.
