Appeared in Tralee Courthouse this week in relation to a 2021 arrest for money laundering - €20k was uncovered in his AIB account, of which €18.8k was frozen at the behest of a South African bank. Williams received an 18-month prison sentence, suspended for two years on condition that he repay the balance, which he did at the hearing.
