A stunning 3-1 win over Sweden was followed by an eight-goal thriller with Denmark where Ireland were defeated 5-3. Their final game came against Croatia which would end in a stalemate.
The tournament served as great development for players looking to impress at international level and push themselves into contention for Tom Mohan’s MU19s side.
