From a players point of view there was no justification for the performance that was given over in Wales, we simply fell apart, we were awful. I would like to apologise to the fans on behalf of the players.
The players are fully aware of how poor we were and we felt awful letting so many people down.
You have to take defeats on the chin as they are part of football but for so many travelling fans to be treated to a performance like that was disgraceful.
As players we fully deserve the stick we have taken in the press and from various fans.
After the game it shows the measure of our fans that the majority took
the defeat on the chin and clapped the players off the pitch. I for one was very embarassed by this but was also grateful at the same time.
Those who did not take the defeat well I can understand as it was a shambles and I agree that you have every right to vent your frustration in whatever way you feel you should.
We were very grateful for the support in Drogs yesterday and the large numbers that turned up.
We just have to get on with things now and make the season a sucessful one, we are very fortunate that we have had more highs than lows in recent times and we will rely on your support to get back on track.
