In the sun last week it said that Shelbourne would take around 1,000 fans to Belfast for the Champions League Game against Glentoran. Is this true??? :confused: I know City and Shels have a rivalry but I hope Shels stuff Glentoran cant have the Northern Teams thinking their p!sspot of a league is better than ours when we really know its not. ;)
No need for comments of that nature about other leagues please.

I would be very surprised if we took more than a couple of hundred. A lot of people seem to be expressing concern about the date and if the game is on TV most people will decide not to "risk it"Quote:

Agreed. Hopefully, though, Shels will be lured into that false sense of security and think all they have to do is turn up to win. Rest assured, the Glens will give Shels a very tough game on July 13th. I would like to think that after this tie is concluded, there will no longer be people from the Republic referring to our league as a "**** pot". The difference in quality between the two leagues is not as great as some would think, and the Glens intend to prove that.Quote:

There was only about 800 at the shels derry match tonight , so unless alot of them started travelling early or there gonna give out free train tickets aswell as match tickets i doubt they'll get many.
