McGeough linked with Waterford return
Former Waterford United manager Jimmy McGeough has refused to rule out a possible return to the club.
Belfast native McGeough is a folk hero in the southern city from his time as both a player and manager of the club.

i saw in a paper yesterday that Pat Scully was being hotly tipped to take over at waterford. anyone heard or know anything about this?
Bad move if it is true .... Scully wont amount to much while managing a team from Dublin (unless it were in Dublin) .... it just doesn't work, i cant recall a sucessful team managed away from the club in this league (even other leagues its rare) .... i am not saying he is not a good manager, just that it#ll never appear that way with such a barrier against him.Quote:
