It's on BBC3 at the moment. Exact same storylines as the classic Stephen Merchant/Ricky Geravais version - they wrote the script. Bit strange. The american accents and characters have lost a bit of the translation of the british humour. Anyone else see it?
I watch it over here and like you said, it's very odd with the accents, not to mention the Yank actors are sh**e IMO.
The first episode of the NBC version was an exact copy of the first BBC one. But the show did improve after the first on NBC. Still not as good as the BBC one but it does have some merit.
Watched it last night.
Honestly don't see the point of watching it again, easier to put on the original on DVD.
Something definitely got lost in the translation, don't know what it was though.
