Waterford United acting chairman Greg Pheasey has decided to step down from his role as chairman and director of the club with immediate effect.
"Due to the pressures of work, I have to concentrate on my own business and this means that I cannot give the club the full attention that it deserves," said Pheasey. "I have always been and will continue to be an avid supporter of Waterford United and I wish the club every good wish for the future. I would also like to thank everybody for the support that I have received over the past few months."
The remaining directors, Jim Nolan and Martin Colbert, will meet in the next few days to determine a date for an AGM and its future direction. The club would like to thank Greg for his efforts and commitments for Waterford United over the many years of his involvement.
