Think that is a bit harsh, yes some there was some unforgivable finishing yesterday from O'Reilly and Conor Meade but you have to remember that every team will go through a bad patch, we are going through ours, two or three wins in this division and you shoot up the table.
Dublin City will have a bad spell too, every one will.
dublin city a bad spell??when?
dublin will walk all over us in cobh.i can bet you money ramblers will not win the league now!
I have heard some rubbish over time on this website but it does get worse.
Yesterdays game was another bad result but everyone seems to forget we are still well up on where we were last season.
People all ready dishing ramblers after 3 defeats as comic guy says all will have bad days hopefully we can suport the team instead of getting on there backs.
And as for Willi Bruton how many goals did he score in his last season with Ramblers was it 5 and 3 were penaltys.
Give the guys a break and stop moaning.
Laughing stock of Ireland? What Planet are u from??? O' Rielly is the top scorer in the League...Explain yourself.... : :confused:Quote:

Cobh Ramblers 0-1 Monaghan United
Ramblers lost further ground at the top following their second successive defeat, this time to Monaghan at Cobh.
David Lee was United’s hero, scoring on 50 minutes and turning in a man of the match performance to help the Ulster men to all three points. The result was harsh on Cobh who battled throughout and had goals from Darren Murphy and Kieran O’Reilly disallowed in each half.
The result moves United away from the relegation zone and onto 14 points, while Cobh remain on 19, five points off leaders Dublin City.
Fair enough...but do you not think your comment 'Laughing stock of Ireland' is a bit harsh??? Did you not think that the ref had a big part to play in ramblers luck yesterday??? No team will win every game not even Dublin city...everyone has a bad spell!
Well said....lets get behind them and not abandon ship after one or two bad results...Hard match next up as well away to Athlone. FAI cup home after that to Wayside.
and try not to forget we have the 2nd best away record in the league unbeaten with 4 wins (dundalk doesnt count)
It sickens me the way some people jump on the bandwagon every time a team goes through a bad patch. OK so the result and display on saturday was poor but nobody knows that better than the management and players. People must realise that every team will go through a lean spell during the season no matter how good they are, just ask any Cork City or Shelbourne supporter. Good players do not turn into bad players overnight and in my opinion this squad of players is good enough to win the club promotion.
We have a very good management team in place and I have no doubt that with continued hard work they will reverse the last two poor results in the next two weeks.
But what if they are bad players qwho had a couple of decent matches? That argument could cut both ways. :cool:Quote:

Try being a GUFC supporter at the moment !!!!!!!!! :(
eddie you say the performance was poor. rams had 5 1 on 1 with mons keeper had 3 goals dissalowed hit the post and had 2 blatant penos turned down.darren murphy went close with 3 headers and they took the ball of the line twice. rams finishing was poor but the performance was very promising.
Lads, the game has simple rules, O'reilly just wasn't switched on Sat. It was obvious that he was ahead of Conor and all he needed to do was stop and let Conor finish the move into an empty net. As soon as he moved towards the ball he was off side.
Darrens goal was disallowed because O'Reilly prevented the keeper and defender moving out and blocked them by pushing them back. Referee was looking at him.
Have to say I disagree with the last goal decision. Pushing there may of been but it was a two way tussel.
Bad result all round, really missed Cliffy in mid to stop the unnecessary jitters. Darren offered no leadership in the center. The passing and midfield were non existance in front of a really poor Monaghan Side. :o
monaghan are our whipping side FFS.
Trust me, every team in this division will go through a bad spell, Dublin City will have theirs, any team that puts 3 or 4 wins together will be transformed, it's all about confidence. As for them walking over us in Cobh? I wouldn't be so sure.Quote:
