just wondering do ramblers feel the coverage in the echo is too bias towards cork city and would they appreciate having an opinion column like cork city have on the evening of a match.

I think the echo give us good coverage, City get good coverage because they have been succesful over the years, personally I don't think the club can complain too much, the coverage has improved this season, two weeks ago on a Friday night the Echo had a pull out colour team poster of Ramblers .
No doubt there would be clubs in the Premier that would kill to get exposure like that, so I think we are lucky to have good coverage.
P.s i don't work for the Ech ;) o
I think the fact that the Echo currently has a sponsorship deal with Cork City may have something to do with the amount of coverage that they get!Quote:

Do you even realise how much time to goes in to even a small program.
I think it is unfair to knock the program.
Michael Donavan should be getting a pat on the back that there is being one produced.
chuck.. how would you improve the program ? !!!!
Don't know if you got the last few programs but there were great colour shots of both the players and match photos. Are we forever going to knock the efforts of others and sit on the fence ourselves?
BTW should mention that Ramblers staff were at Program Design until midnight one week to get it out so Im sure €2 to support your local club is not asking too much when you look at the time and effort involved by all.....
If there are people out there who are willing to give up their own time and can do better then what is currently available then Im sure the club would appreciate all the support it can get........
you're spot on rambler1 it's easy to criticise.... the programmes are not bad at all ....chuck you should see what Limerick have on offer or Kilkenny when they feel like producing one
The programs have improved a lot since last year. The manager gets a say on the last game and outlines the plus and negative parts of the teams game.
The rest is to cover the sponsors and keep the team pictures up so people can get to know the new faces of which there is a lot of this year :ball:
