When I saw that, I presumed that they were too old. Is this not the case?
Wouldn't have thought so - I think these qualifiers were being mentioned when they were in the squad the first time. I think the qualifying date wouldn't change over the course of a campaign. Think it's just a fair few players are back.
I think the cut-off date is usually the 1st of January so I wouldn't think their elligibility has changed.
On a slightly related topic, Quigley is in eleven-a-side's Team of the Week for this week...
Well deserved too, he's been excellent in the last few games.

Don't know really.
The squad seems to be at very short notice - if it were at a longer notice (ten days, I think), we could have had the Pat's game called off, so us not releasing them wouldn't have been an issue. I don't think we've ever stood in the way of players playing for Ireland, so I would be surprised if we did it here.
Very surprised College didn't get a centre half in. Top of the league didn't score & their forwards were pretty much dominated.Quote:
