Dublin City V KIldare Co. switched

DUBLIN CITY's clash against Kildare County, originally scheduled for Tolka Park on Thursday has been moved to Richmond Park Inchicore on Friday.


The move is as a result of fixture congestion involving Dublin City and landlords Shelbourne and with few acceptable dates available, the Vikings have opted to switch the game to the home of St Patrick's Athletic.


"It's unfortunate," said chief executive Ronan Seery. "We looked at several permutations but in the end had to accept that the best solution was to switch the game completely out of Tolka Park."


The Vikings are still looking for their first win of the season as too are the Thoroughbreds who lost on the opening day of the season to Sligo and were held scoreless in Saturday afternoon's clash at Sation Road, Newbridge by Cobh Ramblers.


Friday's match will kick-off at 7.45pm
