Great Wins by Youth team over the weekend
Cobh Ramblers Youth Team had two superb wins over the Easter Weekend. On sat they beat Bandon away 4-1 in the league and the score would have been much higher only for a great display by the Bandon keeper. Yesterday they travelled to Bishopstown to play Cork City in the League Cup Semi Final and in an excellent, hard fought game won 2-1 with a superb winning goal coming with 3 minutes to go from Man of the Match Tim O'Shea. This was a great all round team display and it should be noted that eight of the starting eleven players are from Cobh, while the other three have been playing in Cobh for a number of years now. Well done to John Coughlan, Liam Amplett & Eddie Ellard for the great work they are doing with the youths & 17s.
