i remember a lot of previous controversy about teams from leinster and muster using up their suspensions through playing in their provincial senior cup games.
Does anyone know what the current position is?
If they count as suspensions did Ramblers make an error in playing Willie Byrne v Rockmount in the MSC?
If he hadn't played might Ramblers have got away with playing him against Kilkenny tonight??

Not sure what the exact question is but heres what I believe the current situation is:
Yes there was controversy in previous seasons with clubs re-scheduling MSC or LSC cup games to use up league/fai cup suspensions.
One of first things the League Commish did was to remove their loophole in the league rules. He said he proposed the change to the clubs & they agreed. Therefore can't serve out league/fai cup suspensions in the MSC or LSC anymore. I would think it works the opposite direction too.
