Late Ross Kenny goal put Wexford through to the next round of the Leinster Senior Cup on a night when you wouldn't have put a dog out. Vicious swirling wind made playing conditions difficult. Wexford began each half with a really good chance but converted neither but otherwise it was Cabinteely which slightly looked the more likely to score. With six minutes to go in the game, a free by Wexford found Ross Kenny all alone inside the Cabinteely area and he nodded home easily for 1-0 to Wexford. Best for Wexford were Kealan Gaffney in goal, Sean Hurley, Thomas Croke and AJ Lehane. Cabinteely might have gone through if they had their shooting boots on. 1-0 to Wexford at full-time.
