Rico never cut his links with the People's Republic
If you think about it he never really did cut all his links, did he?
He had a permanent slot in "Inside Cork" where he wrote an article on football with a significant leaning towards our good selves.
On the TV3 Soccer show he was obviously biased towards us, never really criticising us, even when we were poor.
He always picked City players in his end of season teams, and frequently picked goals scored by us in his goal of the month slot .... much to the annoyance of that little runt sitting next to him in the studio - you know who I mean, the little turd with the shocking sense of dress, total bias to $hels (my son plays for their under age teams....crap).
Methinks he was always keeping his cards close to his chest in preparation for the moment the poition became available again.
He really feels he has unfinished business down here as he left when we were bankers to win the title last time and I think he wants to close that chapter now with us.
