The Airport is in Carrickfinn about 30-40 miles from Ballybofey, Air Aran fly from Dublin daily AFAIK not to sure as I have never used this service.
You'd probably be better off flying to City Of Derry Airport as you could then get a bus to Ballybofey from Derry
You can get there and back for €40.50 on bus eireann. Not in the same day though! I'm not going that way I might add!
