David Kelly Signs for Mansfield!

Interesting to here that David Kelly has signed for Mansfield on only a 3 month contract. I would have thought he would have signed for Shelbourne as this would have given him a chance to play European football next season. I'm sure Shelbourne would have been able to match his wage demand for only a 6 month contact or is this another example of a 3rd division club more appealing than a NL club??

this is a good one...Kelly was humming and hawing over the deal that $hels offered him and was taking so long making his mind up that $hels actually cancelled their offer and pulled out...and this was over a week ago...so the Mansfield thing only happened after $hels pulled out ..not the other way round
