Leon Best is in the Ireland U-19 squad for a mini tournament in La Manga. He better be good after all this talk.:) Decent squad considering its not full strength.

Republic of Ireland Under 19 Manager, Sean McCaffrey, has announced a 19-man squad for the International Tournament in La Manga, Spain, organised by the FA of Norway from 7th to 12th February, 2005.
The squad includes a number of players who performed so well in the two friendlies against Italy in Bari recently when Ireland drew 0-0 in the opening game before winning the second game 2-0 while also returning to the panel is Southampton striker Leon Best who has missed all of this season's Under 19 games.
In the Tournament, Ireland will face “hosts” Norway on Tuesday 8th February, the Czech Republic two days later and Denmark on Friday 11th February. All matches Kick Off at 3:00 local time (2:00 Irish time)
McCaffrey will be using the Tournament as an important build up to the next qualifying phase of the UEFA Championships which take place in April when Ireland travel to Belgrade to face Serbia and Montenegro, Albania and Poland looking to qualify for the UEFA Under 19 Championships which take place in Northern Ireland this year.
